What to do

Connect it early, before the first report. Three of the five topic-health signals and every traffic figure on Content stay dark without it, and it is the one source that can show what the site was doing before you started.

How it works

  • You sign in through Google’s own consent screen and pick the properties. We can read what that Google account can already see, and we never ask for more. Disconnecting revokes it.
  • The first sync pulls the last six months, so the first report already has a before-you-started baseline and every delta has a prior window to compare against.
  • Each sync re-reads a trailing window instead of trusting the last high-water mark. Search Console and Analytics both keep adjusting the last few days.
  • A Search Console domain property covers every host Google has ever attributed to it, an old domain from before a rename included, so rows are filtered to your own site before anything is stored.
