Issues across your pages

The same fault on many pages, reported once: how many pages carry it, how many points it costs, and whether it is one change to your site’s template or work on each page.

What to do

Fix the template-level ones first. One change there clears every page that carries it.

How it works

  • We call a fault a site issue when it is on at least 3 pages and at least a fifth of the pages reviewed. Below that it belongs to the page.
  • Two findings come from reading the site itself, so they show before anything has been reviewed: near-identical location, service or category pages, and pages whose “last updated” date moved while their text stayed the same.
  • Near-identical pages read to Google and AI answers as one page with the town or industry swapped. Make each one say something only that page can, or merge them.
  • Neither of those two costs a page any points. Technical issues are listed the same way on Technical.
