What to do
- Mostly pages like yours (other vendors, guides, documentation): a page can win that slot. Write or improve one.
- Mostly review sites, directories or social media (striped): a page of your own won’t take the slot. Getting listed, or posting under your own name, is the way in.
- A vendor site you compete with: add it as a competitor, and its citations count as a competitor’s on every screen.
How it works
- Counted once per site per answer, across the latest answer from each engine to each question at its current wording.
- Kinds are read off each site’s address and a list of known review sites, forums and directories. A competitor on your profile is recognised by its name or domain in the site’s address. No AI decides the kind.
- Your own site is counted apart, as the number of answers that cite it.
