What you say, and what they ask
Being visible has two halves: what your business says about itself, and what your customers actually ask. Your pages are where the two meet.
All help
What to do
- Read down the right-hand side first. Viz says what each chart means, with the steps that act on it beside it and the most useful one at the top.
- Start with what has no page yet. Each one is a page customers are already looking for.
- Then improve pages that answer a search but don’t show up in Google or AI answers. Improving a page you have beats writing a second one.
- Look again every month or so. What people search moves, and new ones are marked New.
How it works
- Your side is your focus areas, topics and pages. Your customers’ side is what they ask, in search and forums, and where Google and AI answers send them.
- What we found is worked out from the numbers on the screen. Viz puts it in plain words, and any line it can’t back with the chart’s own numbers shows as the plain finding instead, so every number can be checked against the chart beside it.
- Three things are kept apart: what we found on your site (a page answers it), what we measured (Google position, AI answers) and what we suggested. A suggested question is never counted as something a customer asked.
- AI answers are tested on your question list, which is a different set from the searches customers type. Anything customers ask can be added to that list in one click, so the next test measures it.
